A Python engine for transmission screening studies — designed to be scripted, batched, and audited, not clicked through.
PsFlow implements the linearized study workflows at the heart of screening and scoping work: full N-1 contingency analysis, source-to-sink transfer limits, and worst-case transfer limits across contingency sets. It reads industry-standard case and study decks, runs scenario batches in parallel, and produces structured results — DataFrames, CSVs, and generated constraint reports — instead of screenshots.
PsFlow is a DC-linearized engine. It is the right tool for screening, deliverability, congestion, and transfer-capability work, where linearized analysis is standard practice. It is not a substitute for full AC facility studies today; AC capability is on the roadmap, building on the ACOPF solver work we maintain in open source. We'd rather be precise about scope than sell you a vague one.

Your monitored-element, contingency, and subsystem decks work as-is. Adopting PsFlow means running your existing study, scripted — not rebuilding your model library.
A study is a script plus input files. Version it, diff it, rerun it a year later and get the same answer. Auditability is a feature, not an afterthought.
PsFlow runs in your environment on models you hold under your own ERCOT, RTO, or utility agreements. Powersense never takes custody of CEII — the architecture makes the compliance question easy.
The same script runs one contingency set on a laptop or a thousand-scenario sweep on a 64-core machine. workers= is the only thing that changes.
Generated constraint summaries and violation tables designed to drop into study deliverables — because the report is the product your client sees.
No black box. Formulations are documented, results are inspectable at every step, and our validation methodology is public.
PsFlow is licensed annually per seat, with design-partner pricing for early adopters in 2026. Source-escrow terms are available for organizations that need continuity assurance.
